No. YouInspect™ is a guided property inspection and documentation tool that helps you organize your own observations. It is not a licensed home inspection and is not a substitute for one.
Do I still need a licensed inspector?
It depends on your situation. Inspection requirements vary by state, lender, loan program, property type, and the terms of your transaction — so check your contract, lender requirements, and local rules before deciding.

What can I try in the app?
The app includes real property setup, 6 inspection areas, 69 base inspection items with 260 guided checks, on-device photo capture, user-selected finding states, and an organized report. Your records are saved only in this browser on this device; there is no account or cloud sync yet. One optional helper works differently: if you ask it to suggest your exterior wall material, your cover photo is sent to our cloud vision service for that one look — only with your permission, and you choose what to keep.
Do I need experience or special tools?
No inspection experience is required to explore the guided flow. Some real-world checkpoints may call for tools or access that aren’t appropriate for every buyer; the app should never encourage an unsafe action.
